Robert and Samantha at the Park 11.27.09

Took my kids out for a photo shoot instead of shopping on Black Friday. We we went to play at the park and this is as much as I can get them to sit for me. Robert is 11 and Samantha is 8. They won't really sit together anymore so all you parents out there I can totally relate to your pains. Happy Holidays to all!!

Sandi and John Meet Me at Elmwood 12.5.09

Sandi and John met me at Elmwood today it was barely 30 degrees but the sun was out. They brought along their 2 dogs. We had a fun session their beagle named Zoe and black lab Morgan were a bundle of energy. We did get the to sit still for a couple photos together. We had most of the park to ourselves that is very nice. Happy Holidays!

Cooper, Scooter and Scamper

Cooper made for some fun on Saturday afternoon with his two dogs- Scooter and Scamper. None of the three wanted to sit still for long but with the beautiful weather and so much to check out at the OPPD Arboretum, mom dad and I just tried to keep up. Even though it was a busy place we found a few great spots for some pictures. Cooper and his puppies even treed a squirrel. Hopefully Mom will pick one of these for her Holiday cards. The Jackson Family at Zorinsky 10.24.09

I met another great family Saturday afternoon at Lake Zorinsky according to the weather it was to be 56 and sunny, but it rained pretty good on us instead. The whole family were great sports with the weather, even though the kids were cold. I think we got some great family pics including their 2 boxers. Hope Mom is happy with the results. Some Fun with the Eagon Family at Lake Zorinsky 10.24.09

October weather has become much more unpredictable this year. Checking the weather online it changed everytime I refreshed. I met this great family on Saturday for some family pictures and no rain. We saw lots of geese and ducks on the lake and they did not seem to mind people getting close to them. Jackson is an adorable happy little one year old who did not want to stay still for pictures with mom and dad. But he sure loved the slide and swinging at the park. I hope mom and dad enjoy some pictures from our session. Have a great day.

Elmwood Park with Jodi and Candice 10.18.09

What luck Sunday turned out to be a nice day once we got warmed up. Of course I met Jodi and Candice a little before the warmth showed its face. There were plenty of folks with the same plans to shoot pictures at Elmwood Park. Lucky for us there were so many great places to shoot this fun, fabulous duo. A Winter Wonderland for Tara and James...but it's fall 10-10-09

Tara and James are married YEAH!! I met Tara 3 years ago and was so honored and happy she asked me to shoot their wedding and it truly was a wonderful day. Waking up to snow Saturday morning did not dampen any one's mood for the day. Everything went so smoothly all day, the couple did a cute little stroll and twirl up the aisle after the ceremony to usher out the guests and the guests were completely surprised. The whole wedding party was a great group of friends and family and a day filled with fun. We even squeezed in enough time to take some shots at the Gene Leahy Mall where James proposed to Tara last year. Even enough time for a snowball fight between the bride and ushers. The happy couple were serenaded for their first dance "Lucky" by two friends who were exceptional. A fabulous celebration of love and family, Tara and James are off to Mexico for a much deserved honeymoon. Congrats you two!!!

Easton's family photo day 10.4.09

Sunday morning I met up with Easton and his parents at Wehrspan Lake for some family pictures. The sun was shining, but still a little chilly. Easton was so animated he was a lot of fun. He told me he wants a bow and arrow for his birthday so he can shoot a deer, and he is turning 6. I think he is a farmer at heart. We got so many great shots today I could only post a few.
