Woke up to thunder around 5am, nervous already about the forecast for Sunday. We had planned engagement pictures for my dear beautiful friend Tara and her wonderful fiance James. It was sprinkling on my drive downtown but pretty much stopped by 8:30. We wondered all around the Old Market then over to Gene Leahy Mall. I had so much fun with Tara and James and cannot wait to capture their wedding day. They are a fabulous couple and I think they will have a wonderful life together. So happy we had a perfect day, the clouds even broke out to blue skies for a few final shots with the landscape of downtown Omaha. James even renacted the proposal on the bridge for me. So sweet.
